ABOUT RUN FOR CHILDREN 2022 CAMPAIGN
Friends Without A Border invites you to participate in our third annual international virtual race. Our goal is to increase awareness of Lao Friends Hospital for Children and to raise funds to keep it operating during this difficult Covid pandemic era. The race will be flexible in many ways to fit into your busy life! You will have:- three days to complete it on October 28, 29, or 30, 2022- three choices for your type of race: Run, Walk or Cycle- three distance levels to choose from: 3 miles, 5 miles or 10 miles (cycling distances will be longer with 3:1 ratio)- three months to train, form a team or get sponsors to support you It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3! 1. Register for $30 to participate individually or with a team, or create your own team.2. Set a personal fitness goal and track your race miles from October 28-30th using your own fitness device or the Charity Footprints App. You can also manually enter your miles on your event page by visiting this link.3. Once you register you will be given a link to your own unique fundraising page. Here you can personalize your page with your fundraising goal and send your link to friends and family to donate in your name.

How to Record Miles
When walking or running, report actual miles.
When cycling, report 1 mile for every 3 miles biked (3:1 ratio).
For your efforts, there will be a Grand Prize for the person who raises the most, either individually or through their team. Prizes to be announced. All participants will receive an e-certificate.
