My Appeal
Hi All,
The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp has meant a great deal to one of my good friends and her family. Her son suffers from a rare disease called Eosinophic Esophagitis which causes him to rely on 90% of his nutrition through a feeding tube. He has multiple food allergies as well which further complicates his disease due to his restricted diet. The Hole in the Wall Gang has given them an outlet, an opportunity to meet families in similar situations, a great deal of support, and opportunities for their son to participate in camps and other experiences that provide medical support while allowing the kids to have amazing experiences and provide peace of mind to parents that they may not have leaving their child in another camp situation.
Each year, the Bruenings typically do a backyard Movie Night fundraiser at their home, which will not be possible this year. I have joined them in a virtual walk of 120 miles - not all at once! :) - and hope you will help me support this amazing camp and this incredible family. They take everything in stride and, despite some difficult challenges, they make it look easy.
Any amount will be greatly appreciated to help me reach my $250 fundraising goal.
Thank you!!
Pam

My Cause
The Mission: The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families, free of charge. We are a community that celebrates the spirit of childhood, the sound of laughter and the feeling of endless possibility.
About the Organization: Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides “a different kind of healing” to more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members annually – all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in more than 35 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast and mid-Atlantic.
