More and more each day sweet doggos are filling up our shelters. It’s hard for most to keep up with food and other essential supplies to keep these baby’s healthy and comfortable until they find their forever homes. Any help from you today will go straight to helping these sweet babies. It’s our job and responsibility to take care of those whom can’t take care of themselves by themselves.

The Mission: The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (HSTT) is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of pets through adoption, community spay/neuter and humane education programs.
About the Organization:
Founded in 1994 by a group of committed volunteers, the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe has become the driving force in animal rescue and adoption for the Truckee region.
Over time, we have grown from a small grass roots entity to a nationally recognized non-profit organization with ten employees and hundreds of dedicated volunteers.
