Money raised will be used to fund our programs for the 2020-2021 school year bringing the power of sport to the children who have the least access.
A sample of what your funds raised will provide:
$112 - Funds a BAWSI Girl for a semester
$225 - Fund a BAWSI Girl for a year
$24,000 - Funds a BAWSI Girls site for a year
$590 - Funds a BAWSI Roller for a semester
$1180 - Funds a BAWSI Roller for a year
$11,000 - Funds a BAWSI Rollers site for a semester
$22,000 - Funds a BAWSI Rollers site for a year
We plan to have 8 sites of BAWSI Girls:
BAWSI Girls - a weekly after-school program using physical activity as a backdrop for building resiliency in second through fifth grade girls in socioeconomically disadvantaged schools.
And 8 sites of BAWSI Rollers:
BAWSI Rollers - A weekly adaptive and fitness and confidence-building program that offers fun and accessible physical activities to girls and boys with physical, hearing and cognitive disabilities.

The Mission: BAWSI's mission is to mobilize the women's sports community to engage, inspire and empower the children who need us most;.
About the Organization: Founded in 2005 by soccer stars Julie Foudy and Brandi Chastain, and sports executive Marlene Bjornsrud, BAWSI's mission is to mobilize the women's sports community to engage, inspire and empower the children who need us most. BAWSI firmly believes that all children have the right to engage in high-energy physical activity and sports to enjoy the accompanying physical, social and emotional benefits. To date, we have enrolled over 20,000 children creating active lives and empowered futures for the most vulnerable children in the Bay Area.
