My Appeal
Suicide in the veterinary community is an epidemic. Although I've just dipped my toes in this field, it is clear that the emotional and physical demands of working at a veterinary clinic are no joke. It pains me to think that people who walked in my shoes struggled so badly that they didn't see a way forward and, statistically, I will lose loved ones in this field to suicide. I'm not okay with that!
As someone who has navigated dark times in the past, I've seen firsthand the benefit of resources and groups like Not One More Vet, Inc to folks in mental health crises. Just want to do my part in helping the cause!

The Mission: NOMV will transform the status of mental wellness within the profession so veterinary professionals can survive and thrive through education, resources, and support.
About the Organization: NOMV addresses wellbeing in veterinary medicine through multiple innovative pathways including: the world’s largest veterinary peer-to-peer support group, an educational program providing leadership focused on wellness; a support grant program providing immediate financial support; an online crisis support system specifically designed for veterinary professionals; and research to further the advancement of wellness, mental health, and the reduction of suicide in veterinary professionals.
