My Appeal
Over 800,000 people, annually, die by suicide, representing 1 person every 40 seconds. Like ripples in a pond, approximately 135 people are affected by each suicide death. This equates to 108 million people bereaved by suicide worldwide every year.
As one of the 135 people affected by a suicide death, I am joining the Cycle Around the Globe campaign to raise funds and awareness in support of suicide prevention. Please consider donating to help me reach my goal.

The Mission:
IASP is dedicated to:
- preventing suicidal behaviour,
- alleviating its effects, and
- providing a forum for academics, mental health professionals, crisis workers, volunteers and suicide survivors.
About the Organization: The International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) leads the global effort in suicide prevention having developed an effective forum that is proactive in creating strong collaborative partnerships and promoting evidence-based action in order to reduce the incidence of suicide and suicidal behaviour.
