September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day.
Every year, about 10,000 people die by suicide in Germany. In Germany, more people die from suicide than from road accidents, violence and illegal drugs. More than 100,000 people suffer the loss of a loved one by suicide every year.
I would like to raise your awareness of this issue and look forward to your support.

My Cause
The Mission:
IASP is dedicated to:
- preventing suicidal behaviour,
- alleviating its effects, and
- providing a forum for academics, mental health professionals, crisis workers, volunteers and suicide survivors.
About the Organization:
The International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) leads the global effort in suicide prevention having developed an effective forum that is proactive in creating strong collaborative partnerships and promoting evidence-based action in order to reduce the incidence of suicide and suicidal behaviour.
