My Appeal
Help! I know there are so many people and organizations that need our support but let us not forget about our zoos and aquariums. Many places, like my own Turtle Back Zoo where I am a Docent, need our assistance. I am fundraising for The Zoological Society of New Jersey, Turtle Back Zoo's animal welfare and the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund. It is a two for one! Helping my beautiful zoo AND the Pandemic Relief Fund. Please #STAYATHOME and help however you can. Large or small, it all adds up. My fundraising goal is nominal because I understand these are difficult times. Turtle Back Zoo knows this all to well. Over the past few weeks there have been many canceled field trips and family outings. All revenue that the zoo requires to run. The Zoological Society specifically covers the cost of feeding our animals which is a HUGE undertaking. You would not believe how much some of those critters eat! Dig deep in between those sofa cushions, count that change, send me a few dollars. Pretty please?
