As some of you may know, my dad was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and underwent surgery to help treat his condition. During the myriad of hospital visits, he and my mother have really benefitted from the Bikur Cholim rooms and food provided by Chesed 24/7. This wonderful organization provides hot, kosher meals to anyone in need. Avigayil and I have joined the Fitbit Challenge to help raise money for Chesed 24/7. Chesed 24/7's philosophy is that no one should ever feel lost and alone during times of illness. We remain firmly committed to providing assistance to patients and families whenever and wherever we can - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We offer patients and their families an oasis in the hospital, through our 18 Chesed Hospitality Rooms, which are stocked with food, drinks and a small taste of home. We have Chesed 24/7 Rooms in the following hospitals:
