Giving Tuesday 2023 - FOODiversity

What would you do if your child was hungry, yet the only food you had could cause a life-threatening reaction?

We invite you to make a life-changing donation to assist those who are wondering where they will find their next allergen-friendly meal.

Your support will reduce daily fears for caregivers who do not have access to allergen-friendly food and health education.

A single donation from you will guarantee a child's satisfaction while enjoying a safe treat and ensure that a family has nutrient-dense ingredients to prepare a safe meal.

The typical caregiver of a child with food allergies spends an extra 15+ hours per week buying and preparing safe meals. Allergen-friendly foods cost more and are often not available in food pantries.

Our FOODiversity families are at risk of hunger. Please join our fight and give the gift of safe food today.

HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS
Thank you so much for choosing to donate to FOODiversity's Giving Tuesday 2023 fundraiser.

Your donation will have the following impacts:
- Allergen-friendly food for those in need
- Health-education for people without quality healthcare
- Training for emergency food providers. Food Pantries and other food distribution organizations (e.g. faith-based, healthcare organizations, etc.) benefit from developing competencies about how to store and distribute allergen-friendly food in order to provide inclusive and safe environments for people with food allergy, celiac disease or food intolerance.

When does the campaign ends?

Campaign ends a day after the Giving Tuesday on 30th November 2023.. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

I am an international donor (non-US), what are my donation charges and tax-deductibility?

For international donors (non-US), please note that all donations are processed in US dollars. Your bank may apply an exchange rate fee, so it's advisable to check with your bank for details.

Who can sponsor my fundraising efforts?

The short answer is - everyone. The fundraising research shows that the number one reason for people not donating is that they weren't asked to.

That said, there are things you can do to attract people to sponsor you. Adding a picture to your fundraising page, telling potential donors why this cause is so personal to you, sharing your fundraising page on social media, email, and chat groups.

Last, if your employer has a gift matching program, check with the human resources department to support your favorite cause as well.
