HOW YOUR PARTICIPATION HELPS
Thank you for donating to the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation's 2024 Giving Tuesday fundraiser. Your donation will help us serve others through the PBA Wills for Heroes (WFH) program.

The PBA provides free basic estate planning for first responders and military veterans. In 2024, we were able to serve over 3,000 heroes through 50 clinics. In 2025, we have over 70 clinics scheduled but we need your help.

You can give through December 31, 2024. Remember, no act of generosity is small or insignificant, and every dollar raised will go far.

Once you've donated, please share our Giving Tuesday page with your friends, family members, colleagues and others via social media channels, chat groups and emails so they can join this critical initiative too!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

How can I create my fundraising page?

Well, you wouldn't have to create a separate fundraising page. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

When does the campaign end?

Campaign end a day after Giving Tuesday on 31st December 2024. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

I am an international donor (non-US), what are my donation charges and tax-deductibility?

For international donors (non-US), please note that all donations are processed in US dollars. Your bank may apply an exchange rate fee, so it's advisable to check with your bank for details.

To understand tax deductibility for your donation, we recommend consulting a tax professional who can provide personalized guidance.

Who can sponsor my fundraising efforts?

The short answer is - everyone. The fundraising research shows that the number one reason for people not donating is that they weren't asked to.

That said, there are things you can do to attract people to sponsor you. Adding a picture to your fundraising page, telling potential donors why this cause is so personal to you, sharing your fundraising page on social media, email, and chat groups.

Last, if your employer has a gift matching program, check with the human resources department to support your favorite cause as well.

Who can I contact if I need help?
