Giving Tuesday 2023 - Refuge International

When you invest in Refuge International, you’re investing in over 100 volunteers that love and serve over 200 refugees and immigrants. You’re making it possible for COFFEE ESL students to hear a brief, understandable word from the Bible every week; you’re making English instruction possible for mothers who can’t easily leave their apartment complex; you’re enabling immigrant children to hear Bible stories every week and learn to read better; you’re paving the way for deep and long-lasting relationships through which the gospel is seen and heard and felt. We help the church love their refugee and immigrant neighbors.

About Giving Tuesday:

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that focuses on unleashing the power of radical generosity. It's a day that encourages individuals to give back by donating, volunteering and by doing good for others.

Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

How can I create my fundraising page?

Well, you wouldn't have to create a separate fundraising page. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

When does the campaign end?

Campaign end a day after Giving Tuesday on 4th December 2024. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

I am an international donor (non-US), what are my donation charges and tax-deductibility?

For international donors (non-US), please note that all donations are processed in US dollars. Your bank may apply an exchange rate fee, so it's advisable to check with your bank for details.

To understand tax deductibility for your donation, we recommend consulting a tax professional who can provide personalized guidance.

Who can sponsor my fundraising efforts?

The short answer is - everyone. The fundraising research shows that the number one reason for people not donating is that they weren't asked to.

That said, there are things you can do to attract people to sponsor you. Adding a picture to your fundraising page, telling potential donors why this cause is so personal to you, sharing your fundraising page on social media, email, and chat groups.

Last, if your employer has a gift matching program, check with the human resources department to support your favorite cause as well.
