ABOUT BROADWAY THEATRE LEAGUE WALK 2 BROADWAY (AND BACK!) CAMPAIGN
Broadway Theatre League, patrons and the community are getting together to (virtually) walk to Broadway in New York City to bring National Touring Broadway shows back to Huntsville, AL. At a time when we cannot be all together at the theatre, BTL is bringing together patrons, Theatre lovers, and anyone who wants to put steps to the pavement in an effort to restore Broadway performances at the VBC Mark C. Smith Concert Hall in Huntsville, AL.
The funds generated for this virtual walk to be used to help ensure that live national touring Broadway shows will once again be seen in Huntsville. Funds will also go to our Student Outreach program and also to present a very special series of performances by Artrageous, March 31 - April 2, 2021.
Artrageous is a troupe of multi- talented Live performance artists, world class singers and recording artists, highly trained dancers and audience motivators and veteran musicians hailing from the high desert of New Mexico. Their high energy performance is a combination of all arts on one stage combined with humor and interaction in a frenzy of movement and color. Artrageous has a passion for all things art and community and they bring their message of the arts being an integral and valuable part of human existence to the stage, leaving their audience of all ages singing, dancing and clapping along.
The five free performances will be a huge thank you to all the people who have gotten our community through the Covid-19 Pandemic. BTL will invite front line workers, medical professionals and 1st responders to be our special guests for Artrageous. BTL will also have a special performance for students.
