About Giving Tuesday 2024 - Not Another Vet Nurse:
 
 
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement that focuses on unleashing the power of radical generosity. It's a day that encourages individuals to give back by donating, volunteering and by doing good for others.
 
 
Your donation directly benefits veterinary professionals mental health! It pays for a therapy session with a licensed veterinary social worker through Therapy Unleashed. You could be the one person who helps someone find a reason to Stay and that is the best gift we could give this holiday season!
 
 
You can help in the following three ways:
 
 
• Donate - Click the "Donate Now" button on our Giving Tuesday 2024 page and make a generous contribution today.
 
 
• Fundraise - Click the "Fundraise Now" button and set a fundraising goal. Next, invite your friends, family members, colleagues and others to donate on your individual page.
 
 
• Share - Consider sharing our Giving Tuesday page link or your fundraising page with others. You can use the built-in sharing tools or copy the page URL and share it on social media, chat groups, emails etc.
 
 
For every person who donated $30 or more they will get this shirt. Shirts are printed, and made by hand. All shirts will be assembled and shipped two weeks after the event.

Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

How can I create my fundraising page?

Well, you wouldn't have to create a separate fundraising page. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

When does the campaign end?

Campaign end a day after Giving Tuesday on 4th December 2024. Once you register for this campaign, we'll give you the link to your fundraising page.

I am an international donor (non-US), what are my donation charges and tax-deductibility?

For international donors (non-US), please note that all donations are processed in US dollars. Your bank may apply an exchange rate fee, so it's advisable to check with your bank for details.

To understand tax deductibility for your donation, we recommend consulting a tax professional who can provide personalized guidance.

Who can sponsor my fundraising efforts?

The short answer is - everyone. The fundraising research shows that the number one reason for people not donating is that they weren't asked to.

That said, there are things you can do to attract people to sponsor you. Adding a picture to your fundraising page, telling potential donors why this cause is so personal to you, sharing your fundraising page on social media, email, and chat groups.

Last, if your employer has a gift matching program, check with the human resources department to support your favorite cause as well.
