My Appeal
Hey guys! I am running miles to donate to the NOT ONE MORE VET campaign. Having been in the Vet field for over 25 years I have seen first hand the emotional toll that this profession can take on people ( this combined with personal struggles can be even harder) Some turn to drugs, and some decide that they cannot take even one more day of living. I have to impress on you that many people that choose this field are "sensitive" caring people and perhaps this is why it effects them so hard. Whatever the cause, we can all agree that this profession needs to do something about how we take care of ourselves as well as how we take care of each other. I have lost people that I have known and worked along side (just this August I attended a celebration of life for a Technician I worked with) Join me in giving your money or your time to a cause that is only meant to lend a helping hand.

The Mission: NOMV will transform the status of mental wellness within the profession so veterinary professionals can survive and thrive through education, resources, and support.
About the Organization: NOMV addresses wellbeing in veterinary medicine through multiple innovative pathways including: the world’s largest veterinary peer-to-peer support group, an educational program providing leadership focused on wellness; a support grant program providing immediate financial support; an online crisis support system specifically designed for veterinary professionals; and research to further the advancement of wellness, mental health, and the reduction of suicide in veterinary professionals.
