My Appeal
Lumen Vitae is a humanitarian organization, rooted in Catholic values, aimed at tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice in the world. Lumen Vitae is starting a fundraising campaign to feed 500 families in Haiti with enough food for a daily meal from November 1, 2020, until October 31st, 2021. Every $40 received as part of this campaign provides enough food to last a month for a family. The families in Haiti who participate in our program are also empowered to join in volunteer projects.
This is an opportunity for us to support some hungry families at this most difficult time of the pandemic, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink." (Mt 25:35).

The Mission:
We race for the children in Haiti that don't have access to education.
Every $30 we raise sponsors one student for a month.
Every $360 we raise will be able to send a child to school for an entire academic year.
Teams and donors who raise/donate $360 will receive names and pictures of all the students.
