The Mission: Our mission is to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well and spiritually alive.

About the Organization: Teen Challenge is a 9–12 month residential program for young men, women and married couples 17 years and older caught in the vicious cycle of drug and alcohol abuse and life-controlling problems. We seek to bring them to a place in their lives where they can understand and apply the reality that life is possible without a substance to cope. It is part of the training that they receive that will give them the tools to make the changes that are necessary in order for this to come to fruition in their lives.
We believe that no one is beyond the reach of help, but a person must be willing be open and teachable in order for real effectual change to take place in their lives. We have been in existence since 1958, and over the years, thousands of lives have been transformed through Teen Challenge. From the humble beginnings of this program, today it is international in its scope, and we are in over 120 countries worldwide.
