The children living at HousingPlus have already faced numerous setbacks in their lives. Quality education is key to future opportunities and we launched responsive programming that bolsters academic success in the current and upcoming school years to open more doors for our young people, and ultimately lead to increased stability throughout their lives.

My Cause
The Mission: HousingPlus provides community-based housing and comprehensive services to New York City women in crisis, to support them in overcoming poverty, homelessness, and the effects of incarceration, and help them build stable lives.
About the Organization: Founded in 2002, HousingPlus’ (HP) mission is to provide community-based housing and comprehensive services to women, including women with children, to support them to overcome poverty, homelessness, and the effects of incarceration; build lives of stability; and define and realize goals for themselves and their families.
