About the Organization: The Early Childhood Council for Yuma, Washington and Kit Carson Counties (ECCYWK) provides efficient, community-based infrastructure to support a state-wide early childhood system. We are rooted in values of community, collaboration and leadership on behalf of children birth through age eight. We are composed of community leaders from learning & development, health & well-being, and family support & education who are working toward comprehensive, systemic goals that meet the needs of child care providers, families and children in our communities.
