My Appeal
The funds raised will be used to provide individualized tutoring, clothing and shoes, summer camps, and other enrichment activities for Kentucky foster children that have been removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect. As we are all experiencing the economic trauma of the covid-19 outbreak, we feel it is our duty to help foster families with any immediate needs they may have that the state does not cover. We will be diligently working with placement agencies, case workers and foster parents to identify and meet these needs. Join us for this challenge and YOU can help make a difference in these children's lives by "Moving everyday from now through the month of May!!"

The Mission: Our mission is to provide funding for individualized tutoring, clothing, summer camp, and other enrichment activities for Kentucky's foster children.
About the Organization: The Foster Care Council is committed to improving the quality of life of the foster care children in Kentucky. There are over 9,500 children in the Kentucky foster care system that have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. We strive to provide assistance for as many children as possible that enter into the foster care system. Our programs aid in helping these children lead as normal of a life as possible with a goal of becoming successful adults. The Foster Care Council provides funding for individualized tutoring, clothing, summer camps, and enrichment activities. These programs are geared to help these children be successful in school and find talents that would normally go undiscovered, while increasing their confidence and self-esteem.
