I have been a member of SHEA for 15 years, and I can personally vouch for the incredible impact that this society of professionals has had on U.S. health care. We are at a pivotal moment in our country's support for public health, infection prevention, and halting the rise in antibiotic resistance. Please join me in supporting SHEA's Race Against Resistance to support the SHEA Research Network which provides awards and scholarships for investigators and future leaders in healthcare epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship.
