Nope, it didn’t stay a 2-log fire down near Sourdough Trailhead, unfortunately. Gary and I had a bird’s-eye view of 2 helicopters and 3 planes fighting it over the weekend.

Boat evacuation across Ross Lake in the North Cascades for Gary and Jason because of a fire caused by lighting a quarter mile uphill from where we parked at the trailhead… apparently we hiked right by it the day before…

Changed the hat and changed the motivation! We’re back in the game now ladies and gentlemen- let’s make these final last weeks really count! :) Logged 4.5 miles of a little “urban hike” after work today and happy to be back on track.

Got my miles in at ACS Relay For Life this Saturday! Fun atmosphere at Tulalip Amphitheater all afternoon. Our team got 2nd (mostly thanks to my brother-in-law’s efforts).

Mt. Rainier was crystal clear from the top of Mt. Si at an 8:30am quiet summit.

Blow your mind view from the top of Mt. Si. I did a solo hike but met a guy listening to a sermon and found out he loves Jesus and goes to Canyon Hills.
