ABOUT KELLER WILLIAMS WALKTOBERFEST CAMPAIGN
For the 13th Annual KW Metro Fundraiser, the employees and agents of Keller Williams Realty Metro Atlanta are committing to GETTING FIT while GIVING BACK! Throughout the month of October (10/1 - 11/5), we will walk, run, bike, swim and get active in a variety of different ways. Most any type of fitness activity can be converted into miles and count toward the campaign. PARTICIPATE at your own level and pace – all fitness levels are welcome. TRACK your miles to reach your personal goals and help us collectively reach our goal of 15,000 miles and $30,000 raised. SHARE your fitness journey throughout the month of October via your social media accounts. ASK your friends, family, neighbors and clients to support your efforts with donations that will benefit 3 wonderful and worthy local charities (see info below for details about our charity beneficiary. Here’s how to join the Get Fit Give Back Fitness Challenge: Step 1: Register beginning September 28 and set up your personal fundraising page. You can set your personal fitness and fundraising goal for the 35-day challenge and . *If you commit to raise $200 (that’s only 10 people donating $20 each), you will receive a GET FIT ~ GIVE BACK t-shirt Step 2: Invite friends, family, neighbors and clients to sponsor your efforts. When you register for the event, you will then have your own fundraising page. You can add your photo, personalize your message, change your fitness and fundraising goals, and share your page via email or social media. Step 3: Set-up your devices (FitBit, Apple Watch, Garmin, Google Fit, Misfit, Strava etc.) with the Charity Footprints application, or you can manually enter your own miles into the app or website using the conversion chart below. Step 4: Start tracking your activity from October 1st through November 5th . Make sure to share your fitness journey… take a photo in action and share to social media #KWGETFITGIVEBACK
*When you register and commit to raising $200 or more, participants will receive a KW Get Fit ~ Give Back t-shirt. (t-shirts can be picked up from Rob, once you have registered and set your fundraising and fitness goal) **If you cannot commit to participating in the KW Get Fit Give Back campaign, you can contribute to the cause by purchasing a t-shirt for $20. Today, the needs are more urgent than ever. We have mobilized our network, facilities, and partners to launch three specific initiatives that are vital at this time: childcare support for healthcare workers, first responders and those on the frontlines of COVID-19; expanded hunger relief programs; and Operation R.E.A.C.H. to support members in high-risk groups. Even as the Y reopens to members, our COVID-19 relief programs will continue to serve the needs of our communities.
