My Appeal
The funds will support a scientific Forum on DIPG that will be held in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on October 3-6, 2019. This meeting will be chaired by Oren Becher, MD of Northwestern University and Cynthia Hawkins, MD, PhD of The Hospital for Sick Kids of Toronto. Participants will be from around the world, a mix of MDs and PhDs and a mix of scientific backgrounds. Guests, including all those who participate in the walk in person or virtually, will be invited to the closing dinner of this meeting on October 5th, 2019.

The Mission: The Kira Spedale Foundation will raise funds and awareness to combat DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a rare inoperable brainstem tumor that attacks children.
