Why we're doing this
Just because we can't get together in person doesn't mean the need for human companionship and support has gone away -- far from it! People need one another, especially in times of grief and loss. The bereavement staff and volunteers at Willamette Valley Hospice continue to provide support in virtual group settings, helping mourning people know that they are not alone in their grief.

Thanks to our Best-in-Show Sponsor COLLIER LAW
We are grateful to have Collier Law staff working so closely with Willamette Valley Hospice to educate the community through workshops, and supporting outreach events. What a joy to have the staff step out as Team Collier Paw for the Walk-n-Wag - raising money as individual over and above their commitment as a business sponsor. Thank you!

Why we're doing this
This sweet little guy needed a temporary foster home while his person evacuated the area due to the hazardous air quality. One of our volunteers picked him up at a moment's notice and is keeping him with her until it's safe for his person to come back. That's the kind of thing Pet Peace of Mind does!

Why we're doing this
Willamette Valley Hospice gathered the reflections of people in our community remembering and mourning their loved ones, and joined them together with beautiful images of glowing luminaria, words of wisdom from our staff, and heartfelt music from our music therapists. It was aired Thursday night, September 10th, and continues to be available as a healing resource for all who are grieving in this time of COVID-19, wildfires, and the 'normal' seasons of birth and death, health and illness that form the rhythms of our human condition. To watch, go to Willamette Valley Hospice's YouTube channel, or Facebook page @WillametteValleyHospice
