Why we're doing this
This is the kind of fun and closeness that usually happens at Camp Mighty Oaks. This year COVID-19 put the kibosh on an in-person camp for families with grieving children. But, our Bereavement staff and volunteers didn't let it stop them from gathering young people for live online grief support groups. COVID or not, people need each other for support, especially when they are grieving. It can be so healing for people of any age to connect with others who are going through something similar to your own loss. With hospice, we are committed to supporting people during the year following a death, and also make our services available to people in the community whose loved one has died without hospice care. Your fundraising through the Walk-n-Wag Unleashed helps support this essential work.

Why we're doing this
Doc and Willie got to go on walks and have the veterinary and grooming TLC they needed while their special person was in care with Willamette Valley Hospice. That's the kind of thing you're supporting through Pet Peace of Mind.
