ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Empowering Women. Transforming Communities.
Rooted in Sisterhood, Driven by Purpose
Aguata-Orumba Women Organization of Southern California was born from a shared vision among women in the diaspora who refused to let distance limit their impact. What started as a local support network has evolved into a powerful engine for humanitarian change, balancing local community building in Southern California with life-changing projects in Nigeria.
With a proven track record of success - including the completion of construction and equipping of the Nawfija Health Center - we pride ourselves on transparency and measurable results. We are mothers, sisters, and professionals dedicated to serving the underserved communities where we live and ensuring our roots remain strong and self-reliant.
