ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Giving senior dogs “The Best for The Rest”
The Mr. Mo Project was named after our dog Moses, a senior Pit Bull surrendered for being too old. We were able to love him for 22 months before he passed away from a spinal cord tumor. We sold our hot tub to pay for his MRI and that opened our eyes up to how many senior dogs might be sitting at shelters due to cost alone.
The Project was started to give senior dogs a chance at finding loving homes by covering all of the medical expenses for the rest of the dogs life. This allows families that have all of the love, space and time for a senior dog but don’t have the additional income to foster a senior dog and give them all that love.
To date, the project has saved over 600 senior dogs and spent over 1.5 million dollars in veterinary expenses.
Saving senior dogs from shelters and paying the medical expenses for the rest of their life.
